General Material Description



Curcuma longa, a ginger relative native to South Asia, has long been used as a spice and household remedy. Turmeric or curcuma oil is a yellow to dark orange liquid, sometimes faintly fluorescent blue, with a spicy, fresh aroma reminiscent of sweet orange, ginger, and galanga.
