General comment | Exquisite floral, woody odor with dry, ambery, vetivert and raisin nuances |
An exceptionally high quality woody-amber material with floral aspects and great potential for blending. Here’s Arcadi Boix Camps writing in 1999: Kohinool “has a woody, floral, amber note with an unsurpassable beauty that combines extrememly well with Iso E Super, making what I believe is a dream accord. In the past I used to say that nothing was comparable to vetyveryl acetate or vetyverol, but, upon seeing mixtures of Iso E Super, Kohinool, cedroxyde, nor limbanol, boisanol, trimofix and amber ketal, my mind changed. They are as great as the previously mentioned old and classical products. The best well-known use of Kohinool is Herrera for Men (around 5%).” | Woody, amber, dry, floral, vetiver |
