This musk performs particularly well in liquid applications (alcohol solution, shampoo, body wash) and emulsions. It is one of the few “top note” musks. | A sophisticated, modern musky note with a fruity pear aspect. Olfactively, between Ambrettolide and Ethylene Brassylate |
Works well in combination with other musks, having a synergistic effect with several of them (including, Exaltone Exaltolide and Habanolide for example), so that very small doses can be an effective boost to a musk complex. Description from Firmenich: “A sophisticated, modern musky note with a fruity pear aspect. Olfactively, between Ambrettolide and Ethylene Brassylate. Use: This musk performs particularly well in liquid applications (alcohol solution, shampoo, body wash) and emulsions. It is one of the few top note’ musks.” According to Arcadi Boix Camps it is “absolutely unique” and “very diffusive”. | Musk-ambrette, rich, fruity-pear |
General comment | A sophisticated, modern musky note with a fruity pear aspect. Olfactively, between Ambrettolide and Ethylene Brassylate |
